To date, Geotron has manufactured over 1,200 magnetometers ranging from the G1 in 1973 to the G5 of which >600 have been built.\u00a0 >500 G41 Resistivity meters have also been built.     Besides the equipment manufactured, Geotron is the accredited agent for many major manufacturers in Canada (Scintrex, IFG, Radiation Solutions), Europe (Bartington, ECA Hytec), Australia (Monex Geoscope), and China (PQWT).  The advantage of purchasing equipment from Geotron is that service and repairs can be done in the fully equipped factory with qualified Electronic Engineers.  Only in specialized cases, is it necessary for the equipment to be returned to the manufacturer for repair.
